The perception of any object is invariably entangled with a cloud of virtual images, comprising memories, images, and spectres that circulate within ever-expanding and shifting fields of becoming, wherein each element simultaneously constitutes and deconstructs the others.

Clouds Lent Out Use Discipline (CLOUD) is a collaborative project initiated by Catty Dan Zhang and Carl Lostritto at the beginning of 2024 as a monthly ritual of making digital clouds. A collaboration formed upon shared interest in atmospheric form and a diffuse creative practice, it is conducted through divergent computational processes that explore clouds as objects, elements, architectures, spaces, systems, or constructs.
The clouds from de Clouds Lent Out Use Project will be displayed at the Ewing Gallery with the support of the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design
